TESTING...
TESTING - Some of the tulips were planted randomly out in the yard, all over the place..... BUT, the grass must be mowed. We mowed over the remains of, some of, the tulips ASAP....
AND WE DID NOT MOW over of the leaves of some of the other "tulip remains". It is a test, where we are allowing some tulips to collect "solar energy" for a while, while others were "MOW-JOED".
The question is; Will the "ASAP "mowed over" tulips" come back next year, as healthy the tulips which we allowed the grass to grow tall, leaving the "tulip remains" - leaves to solarize....PLUS:)
PLUS...The bunnies like the tall grass areas for hiding.
We will know next April 2009, and let you know:)
Although this bunny is not using it now, he/she usually
sits in tall grass....here is picture of the bunny......
